Dreamina Pricing: Plans, Credits and What Seedance 2.5 Costs per Clip
Basic $15, Standard $36, Advanced from $79 and Ultra $520 a month, converted into Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 clips per plan.
Dreamina, ByteDance's image and video app from the CapCut team, has a free tier and four paid plans in the US: Basic at $15 a month ($167.99 a year), Standard at $36 ($409.99 a year), Advanced from $79 ($900 a year) and Ultra at $520 ($5,999 a year). Advanced comes in four credit sizes, from 8,645 to 35,500 credits, priced up to $320 a month. Every plan gets the same tools; what changes is the monthly credit count, and the credit count is what decides how much Seedance 2.5 you can make: at 37 credits a second for 720p, Basic covers 8 five-second clips a month.

Prices checked on 31 October 2026 on Dreamina's pricing page. The page also lists a "1-month" option at higher prices for the same credits ($18 for Basic, $42 for Standard, $84 to $385 for Advanced, $640 for Ultra) and a quarterly option (see billing). The price per credit barely moves between plans: from $0.0095 on Basic to $0.0088 on Ultra, about 7% apart.
What each plan includes
All paid plans list the same core benefits: watermark-free downloads, video extension, resolution upscaling, frame interpolation up to 60 FPS, lip sync for audio and a fast queue. The plans differ in credits, queue priority and 4K image output.
Free
- Daily free credits rather than a monthly grant. Dreamina's own guides give 120 credits a day as the August 2026 US baseline and say the amount can vary by account and region.
- Downloads carry the Dreamina watermark (removing it is listed as a paid benefit).
- Not the full catalog: Dreamina says free access does not cover every model and mode.
Basic: $15 a month, or $14 billed yearly
- 1,575 credits a month. The page estimates "up to 63 videos per month", counted as 5-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clips at 720p (25 credits each).
- Watermark removal, extend video length, upscaling, 60 FPS, lip sync, fast queue.
- About 8 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p a month at the regular rate.
Standard: $36 a month, or $34.17 billed yearly
- 3,885 credits a month, "up to 155 videos per month" on the same Mini basis.
- Same benefits as Basic, including the fast queue.
- About 21 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p a month.
Advanced: from $79 a month, or $75 billed yearly
- Four sizes: 8,645 credits ($79), 17,600 ($159), 23,500 ($212) and 35,500 ($320) a month.
- Fast queue with the highest priority, and 4K image output with Seedream 4.0 (listed free until 6 November 2026 for Advanced subscribers).
- From about 46 (8.6K) to 191 (35.5K) five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p a month.
Ultra: $520 a month, or $499.92 billed yearly
- 59,000 credits a month, "up to 2,360 videos per month" on the Mini basis, or about 318 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p.
- Highest-priority queue and 4K image output, as on Advanced.
- The lowest price per credit: 113 credits per dollar on the monthly plan.
The plan cards also list free 2K or 4K generation with Seedream 4.1, Seedream 4.5, Image 5.0 and Image 4.6 for one year. Those perks only apply to people who subscribed before 15 December 2025 or 28 February 2026 and kept the subscription, so a new subscriber does not get them. Dreamina lists no team or enterprise plan on the pricing page.
What one clip costs on each plan
Dreamina publishes its video rates per generated second at 720p: Seedance 2.5 at 37 credits a second, Seedance 2.0 at 17, Seedance 2.0 Fast at 8 and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 5. The table multiplies those by the clip length and by each plan's regular price per credit (monthly price divided by monthly credits).
| Clip (720p) | Credits | Basic ($15) | Standard ($36) | Advanced 8.6K ($79) | Ultra ($520) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5, 5 s | 185 | $1.76 (8 a month) | $1.71 (21) | $1.69 (46) | $1.63 (318) |
| Seedance 2.5, 10 s | 370 | $3.52 (4) | $3.43 (10) | $3.38 (23) | $3.26 (159) |
| Seedance 2.0, 5 s | 85 | $0.81 (18) | $0.79 (45) | $0.78 (101) | $0.75 (694) |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast, 5 s | 40 | $0.38 (39) | $0.37 (97) | $0.37 (216) | $0.35 (1,475) |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini, 5 s | 25 | $0.24 (63) | $0.23 (155) | $0.23 (345) | $0.22 (2,360) |
Seedance 2.5 is the expensive model here by a wide margin: a 5-second clip costs 7.4 times a Mini clip and more than twice a Seedance 2.0 clip. Because the price per credit is nearly flat, a bigger plan buys more clips, not cheaper ones: Ultra brings a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip down only from $1.76 to $1.63. ByteDance's own API (BytePlus) lists the same clip at about $1.16 on our radar, so pay-per-use undercuts every Dreamina plan for Seedance 2.5 outside promotions.
What Dreamina does not publish: credit rates at 480p or 1080p, a Draft mode rate for Seedance 2.5, and credit costs per image for Seedream 5.0, Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image 2.5. The app shows the cost before each generation; the table above only covers the 720p rates on the record.
How Dreamina credits work
- Cost depends on model, length and resolution. Dreamina's FAQ says credits vary "depending on the model, feature, and generation settings you use".
- Monthly grant. Every billing option, including quarterly and yearly, lists credits per month.
- Expiry and rollover are not stated on the pricing page, in the FAQ or in the Terms of Service. Plan on spending each month's credits within the month.
- Plan changes. The FAQ says you can switch plans as your needs change, with details on the pricing page; it gives no proration rule.
- Renewal and cancellation. Every plan renews automatically. The Terms of Service (last updated 15 April 2026) keep paid features until the end of the period after cancelling, and allow a full refund within 14 calendar days only if the subscription has not been used at all. The Black Friday footnotes add that orders including the added free benefits are non-refundable.
Monthly, quarterly or yearly billing
Yearly billing saves little at the regular price: $12.01 a year on Basic, $22.01 on Standard, $48 on Advanced 8.6K, $83 on 17.6K, $119 on 23.5K, $180 on 35.5K and $241 on Ultra, between 4% and 7%. The quarterly option matches or beats yearly on the larger plans without the 12-month commitment: Advanced 8.6K is $225 a quarter ($75 a month, the same as yearly), Advanced 17.6K $455 ($151.67 a month, 41 cents below yearly) and Ultra $1,500 ($500 a month). On Basic ($45) and Standard ($105) a quarter saves nothing or $1 a month over monthly. The "1-month" option costs more than the monthly subscription for the same credits, $3 more on Basic and $33 more on Advanced 17.6K.
The Black Friday offer
The pricing page runs an "Early Black Friday" offer: $0.29 for the first month of Basic (with card or PayPal), 40% to 50% off the first month of the larger monthly plans and 40% to 50% off the first year, plus lower Seedance 2.5 credit use at 720p (19% on Standard, 41% on Advanced, 49% on Ultra) and some free 5-second Seedance 2.5 clips on yearly plans. The footnotes date it 27 October to 6 November 2026, while the banner at the top says it ends 30 October. Every promotional price renews at the regular price in the table above.
Is Dreamina free?
Yes, with limits. Free accounts get a daily credit allowance instead of a monthly one; Dreamina's own guides cite 120 credits a day as the August 2026 US baseline and tell users to check the figure in their account. At the published 720p rates, 120 credits make 4 five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clips or one 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip a day, and they are not enough for a single 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip (185 credits). Downloads on the free tier keep the Dreamina watermark. On commercial use, the FAQ says eligibility "depends on the applicable Dreamina terms, the content you create, and the models or assets involved", and the Terms of Service say "We don't own your User Content" but that commercial terms "may vary" by product. Read the current terms before using free or paid output in client work.
Which plan to pick
- Trying the app: Free. A few Seedance 2.0 Mini or Fast clips a day are enough to judge the tools, with a watermark.
- Occasional Seedance 2.5: Basic at $15 buys 8 five-second 720p clips a month; Standard at $36 buys 21. If you only need a handful of Seedance 2.5 clips, pay-per-use elsewhere costs less per clip.
- Volume on Seedance 2.0 Fast or Mini: Standard or Advanced 8.6K. At 40 credits a Fast clip, Advanced 8.6K makes 216 a month for $79.
- Daily Seedance 2.5 production: an Advanced size that fits your monthly count, billed quarterly. Advanced 17.6K covers about 95 five-second clips at $455 a quarter.
- Studio volume: Ultra, 318 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips a month at $1.63 each, with the highest queue priority.
The same models elsewhere
Dreamina is ByteDance's own consumer app for Seedance, but the same models are sold by many other platforms and by ByteDance's API. For a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip, here is the cheapest published price on each platform we track, each on its best plan:
And for Seedance 2.0 at the same length and resolution:
The radar compares every length and resolution on the Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 pages, and our Seedance 2.5 benchmark results score the model itself. For subscriptions that carry Seedance 2.5 alongside other models, see Higgsfield pricing and OpenArt pricing; for the cost of a full minute across platforms, see what a minute of AI video costs.

Frequently asked
How much does Dreamina cost a month?
In the US, Basic is $15 a month for 1,575 credits, Standard $36 for 3,885, Advanced $79, $159, $212 or $320 for 8,645 to 35,500 credits, and Ultra $520 for 59,000 credits. Yearly billing is $167.99, $409.99, $900 to $3,660 and $5,999. A promotional first month or first year renews at these prices.
Is Dreamina free?
Yes. Free accounts get daily credits instead of a monthly grant; Dreamina's own guides cite 120 credits a day as the August 2026 US baseline and say it varies by account. That covers about 4 five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clips a day at 720p, not a full Seedance 2.5 clip. Free downloads carry a watermark and not every model is available.
How many credits does a Seedance 2.5 video cost on Dreamina?
Dreamina lists Seedance 2.5 at 37 credits per generated second at 720p, so a 5-second clip uses 185 credits and a 10-second clip 370. At regular prices that is $1.63 to $1.76 for 5 seconds depending on the plan. Rates for 480p and 1080p are not published on the pricing page.
Does Dreamina have Seedance 2.5?
Yes. Dreamina is ByteDance's own app and carries Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini. At 720p they cost 37, 17, 8 and 5 credits per second.
Do Dreamina credits roll over?
Dreamina does not say. The pricing page, its FAQ and the Terms of Service describe credits per month but give no rollover or expiry rule, so plan on using each month's credits within the month.
Is Dreamina yearly billing worth it?
Not by much. Yearly saves between 4% and 7%: $12.01 a year on Basic, $22.01 on Standard, $48 to $180 on Advanced and $241 on Ultra. On the larger plans the quarterly option costs the same or slightly less per month than yearly, without the 12-month commitment.
Can I use Dreamina videos commercially?
Dreamina's FAQ says commercial use depends on the applicable terms, the content you create and the models or assets involved, and the Terms of Service say commercial terms may vary by product. Paid plans remove the watermark. Read the current terms before using output in paid work.
Can I get a refund on Dreamina?
The Terms of Service allow a full refund within 14 calendar days only if the subscription has not been used in any way. Promotional orders that include added free benefits are listed as non-refundable. Cancelling keeps the plan active until the end of the paid period.
