Google Flow Pricing: Veo 3.1 Credits on Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra
Flow comes with the Google AI plans: $4.99, $19.99, $99.99 or $199.99 a month, from 200 to 25,000 credits, plus 50 free credits a day. Here is what each Veo and Omni clip costs on each plan.
Google Flow, the app where Google's Veo 3.1 and Gemini Omni Flash video models live, has no price of its own: it comes with the Google AI plans. Google AI Plus costs $4.99 a month and adds 200 Flow credits, Google AI Pro $19.99 with 1,000 credits, and Google AI Ultra comes in two sizes, $99.99 with 10,000 credits and $199.99 with 25,000. Everyone, with or without a plan, also gets 50 Flow credits a day. Google publishes monthly prices only. The fact that decides the choice: Ultra pays half the credits per Veo 3.1 Fast or Lite clip, so a credit on Ultra goes twice as far on those models as the same credit on Plus or Pro.

Prices checked on 31 October 2026 on Google's Gemini subscriptions page and the Google One AI plans page (US). Credit amounts and per-clip costs come from the Flow Help Center article "Manage your Google Flow credits". Google labels the two Ultra sizes "Ultra 5x" and "Ultra 20x" on Google One and "Ultra $100" and "Ultra $200" in the Flow help pages; they are the same plans.
What each plan includes
All four plans are general Google subscriptions: the price also buys Gemini app limits, cloud storage and other Google benefits. The lists below keep to what matters for video.
Free
- 50 Flow credits a day, which do not roll over. That is two 8-second Veo 3.1 Fast clips, or four 8-second Gemini Omni Flash clips at 720p.
- During peak hours, roughly 2 PM to 5 PM UTC, free users may not be able to generate video; images and the Flow Agent still work.
- No 1080p or 4K upscaling. The default image model is Nano Banana 2 Lite.
Google AI Plus: $4.99 a month
- 200 Flow credits a month on top of the 50 daily credits.
- Gemini Omni Flash and the three Veo 3.1 modes (Lite, Fast, Quality) at the non-Ultra credit rates.
- 1080p upscaling at 0 credits. No 4K upscaling.
- Can buy extra AI credits. 400 GB of storage (the comparison table lists "400 GB or 2 TB"; the page shows no price for the 2 TB version).
Google AI Pro: $19.99 a month
- 1,000 Flow credits a month plus the daily 50.
- Same models and credit rates as Plus; Google describes it as the "full Flow experience".
- Free 1080p upscaling, and Omni 360p drafts can be upscaled to 720p for 0 credits (Pro and Ultra only).
- Family plan members get the AI benefits at no extra cost. 5 TB of storage.
Google AI Ultra: $99.99 a month (5x)
- 10,000 Flow credits a month plus the daily 50.
- Half the credit cost on Veo 3.1 Lite (5 instead of 10) and Veo 3.1 Fast (10 instead of 20). Veo 3.1 Quality stays at 100.
- 4K upscaling at 50 credits a clip, which no other plan offers.
- First access to new experimental models in Flow. 20 TB of storage.
Google AI Ultra: $199.99 a month (20x)
- 25,000 Flow credits a month plus the daily 50.
- Veo 3.1 Lite in a lower priority queue at 0 credits, for Ultra 20x subscribers and family plan managers only.
- Project Genie, YouTube Premium (individual) and 30 TB of storage. The Gemini page lists Project Genie under Ultra in general; the Google One footnote says Ultra 20x only.
- Outside the 20x plan, a visible watermark is applied automatically for users in India, South Korea and Vietnam. Everywhere else it is a toggle.
What one clip costs on each plan
The table divides each plan's price by its monthly Flow credits ($0.025 a credit on Plus, $0.020 on Pro, $0.010 on Ultra 5x, $0.008 on Ultra 20x), multiplies by the credit cost Google lists, and counts how many clips the monthly credits cover. The 50 daily credits are left out, and so is everything else the plan includes, so the dollar figures are an upper bound.
| Clip | Plus ($4.99) | Pro ($19.99) | Ultra 5x ($99.99) | Ultra 20x ($199.99) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Lite, 8 s | 10 cr, $0.25, 20 a month | 10 cr, $0.20, 100 | 5 cr, $0.05, 2,000 | 5 cr, $0.04, 5,000 (or 0 cr at lower priority) |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 s | 20 cr, $0.50, 10 | 20 cr, $0.40, 50 | 10 cr, $0.10, 1,000 | 10 cr, $0.08, 2,500 |
| Veo 3.1 Quality, 8 s | 100 cr, $2.50, 2 | 100 cr, $2.00, 10 | 100 cr, $1.00, 100 | 100 cr, $0.80, 250 |
| Gemini Omni Flash 720p, 8 s | 12 cr, $0.30, 16 | 12 cr, $0.24, 83 | 12 cr, $0.12, 833 | 12 cr, $0.10, 2,083 |
| Gemini Omni Flash 720p, 10 s | 15 cr, $0.37, 13 | 15 cr, $0.30, 66 | 15 cr, $0.15, 666 | 15 cr, $0.12, 1,666 |
| Gemini Omni Flash 360p, 10 s | 7 cr, $0.17, 28 | 7 cr, $0.14, 142 | 7 cr, $0.07, 1,428 | 7 cr, $0.06, 3,571 |
| Omni Flash video edit | 40 cr, $1.00, 5 | 40 cr, $0.80, 25 | 40 cr, $0.40, 250 | 40 cr, $0.32, 625 |
Plus barely covers Veo: its 200 monthly credits make 10 Fast clips or 2 Quality clips, fewer than a month of daily credits (50 a day) would add if you open Flow every day. Pro's 1,000 credits buy 50 Veo 3.1 Fast clips at $0.40 each, or $0.05 a second. Ultra 5x costs five times Pro but, with halved Veo rates, makes twenty times as many Fast clips (1,000). Google does not publish the output resolution of Veo clips on the credits page; Omni Flash is listed at 720p and 360p, and every subscriber can upscale to 1080p for free. Flow does not carry Seedance 2.5.
How Google Flow credits work
- Two pools. The 50 daily credits refresh the day after your first generation of the day and do not roll over. Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over either.
- Charged at the start. Credits are deducted when a generation starts. If it fails or hits a safety filter, they are returned within one hour.
- Top-ups. Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers can buy AI credits in supported regions (not Japan). The help pages do not list top-up prices or pack sizes, and bought credits may expire after a period set at purchase.
- Families. Family group members can share AI credits, but only the plan manager can buy more or change the plan.
- Rates can change. Google says costs may change and the Flow settings menu shows the current figure. Subscribers can see every charge, with timestamps and the next refresh date, on Google's AI activity page.
- Workspace. Qualifying Google Workspace business plans get Flow with 50 daily credits at no extra charge.
Monthly or yearly billing
Neither the Gemini subscriptions page nor the Google One plans page offers yearly billing for the AI plans in the US: all four are monthly, and the pages say you can cancel anytime. The one discount on the pages is for students: eligible students (verified through SheerID, not on school accounts) get Google AI Plus at no charge for one year and discounted Pro bundles, for up to four years, after which the plan renews at the standard monthly price.
Is Google Flow free?
Partly. The Flow credits article says that with or without a subscription you get 50 Flow credits a day, and the Gemini subscriptions page lists Flow under the free tier with "limited access". That is enough for two Veo 3.1 Fast clips or four 720p Omni Flash clips a day, but free users may be blocked from video between 2 PM and 5 PM UTC and cannot upscale. The Flow "Get started" article still lists a Plus, Pro or Ultra subscription as a requirement, so the two help pages disagree. Every output, free or paid, carries Google's invisible SynthID watermark. On ownership, Flow's help pages defer to Google's Terms of Service, which say Google won't claim ownership of original content you generate. Flow is for users aged 18 and over.
Which plan to pick
- Trying Veo or Omni: the free tier. 50 credits a day cover 4 Omni Flash clips, outside peak hours.
- A few clips a week: Plus at $4.99 is mostly a storage and Gemini plan; its 200 credits add 10 Veo Fast clips a month to the daily allowance.
- Regular Omni Flash or Veo Fast work: Pro at $19.99 gives 83 Omni Flash 8-second clips or 50 Veo Fast clips a month, plus free 360p to 720p upscaling of Omni drafts.
- Veo at volume: Ultra 5x. 1,000 Veo Fast clips a month at $0.10 each, and the only plans with 4K upscaling.
- Heaviest use: Ultra 20x at $0.008 a credit, the lowest rate, plus Veo 3.1 Lite at 0 credits in the slow queue.
- Developers: the Veo 3.1 Preview endpoints left the Gemini API on 22 October 2026, and Flow credits do not carry over to any API, so pipelines should look at per-second providers on the Veo 3.1 radar.
The same models elsewhere
Veo 3.1 and Gemini Omni are also sold per clip or per second through other platforms. Here is the cheapest published price for an 8-second 720p Veo 3.1 clip on each platform we track:
Flow does not carry Seedance 2.5, so as a reference point, this is what a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip costs on each platform we track:
In our benchmark, Gemini Omni scores 4.82 out of 5 (4th of 16 models) and Veo 3.1 4.63 (12th of 16); the full write-up is in our Gemini Omni review. Live prices for every length are on the Gemini Omni radar and the Seedance 2.5 radar. Frequently asked
How much does Google Flow cost?
Flow has no separate price. It comes with the Google AI plans: Plus at $4.99 a month with 200 Flow credits, Pro at $19.99 with 1,000, Ultra at $99.99 with 10,000 and Ultra at $199.99 with 25,000. Every account, paid or not, also gets 50 Flow credits a day.
Is Google Flow free?
Partly. Google's Flow credits article gives everyone 50 credits a day, enough for two 8-second Veo 3.1 Fast clips or four 720p Gemini Omni Flash clips. Free users may not be able to generate video between roughly 2 PM and 5 PM UTC and cannot upscale. Another Flow help article still lists a paid plan as a requirement, so the help pages disagree.
How many Flow credits does a Veo 3.1 video cost?
An 8-second clip costs 10 credits on Veo 3.1 Lite, 20 on Veo 3.1 Fast and 100 on Veo 3.1 Quality. Ultra subscribers pay half on Lite (5) and Fast (10); Quality is 100 for everyone. Gemini Omni Flash costs 7 to 15 credits at 720p depending on length, and half that at 360p.
What is the difference between Google AI Pro and Ultra for Veo?
Pro ($19.99) gives 1,000 Flow credits a month, about 50 Veo 3.1 Fast clips. Ultra ($99.99) gives 10,000 credits and halves the Fast and Lite rates, so about 1,000 Fast clips, plus 4K upscaling at 50 credits. The $199.99 Ultra adds 25,000 credits and free Veo 3.1 Lite in a lower priority queue.
Do Google Flow credits roll over?
No. Daily credits and monthly plan credits both expire unused. Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle. AI credits bought as top-ups may expire after a period set at purchase. Credits for a failed or filtered generation come back within an hour.
Can I buy more Flow credits?
Yes, Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers can buy AI credits in supported regions, not in Japan. Google's help pages do not list the top-up prices or pack sizes. In a family group only the plan manager can buy them, but members can share them.
Is there a yearly Google AI Pro or Ultra plan?
Not on Google's US pages: all Google AI plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime. Eligible students get Google AI Plus at no charge for a year and discounted Pro bundles.
Does Google Flow have Seedance 2.5?
No. Flow offers Google's own models: Veo 3.1 in Lite, Fast and Quality modes and Gemini Omni Flash for video, and Nano Banana models for images. Seedance 2.5 is sold through other platforms.
