Hailuo AI Pricing: Plans, Credits and What a MiniMax H3 Clip Costs

Free, Standard, Pro, Master and Max compared: credits, per-second rates for MiniMax H3, Veo 3.1 access and yearly savings.

Hailuo AI, MiniMax's video app, has a free plan and four paid plans: Standard at $10.50 a month ($8.40 billed yearly), Pro at $38 ($30.40 yearly), Master at $89 ($71.20 yearly) and Max at $216 ($184 yearly). Every plan pays in credits that reset each month, from 1,000 on Standard to 27,000 on Max. The fact that decides the choice: Standard pays about $0.0105 a credit and runs one video at a time, while Pro and above drop to about $0.0084 a credit (around $0.0068 billed yearly) and run two at once.

Prices checked on 31 October 2026 on Hailuo AI's pricing page. The page shows $14.99, $54.99 and $119.99 struck through next to Standard, Pro and Master, marked "30% off" (monthly) or "44% off" (yearly), with no end date; the table uses the prices charged at checkout. The yearly toggle is labelled "-47%" and the site's header button says "From $9.99/mo", but no plan on the page is priced at either figure.

What each plan includes

Free

• A one-time batch of trial credits: the sign-up banner offers 150 credits to new users. No monthly credits.
• Hailuo models only: MiniMax H3 (4 to 15 seconds, 768p or 2K), H3 Max (5 to 15 seconds, 480p or 768p), Hailuo 2.3 (6 seconds at 768p), Hailuo 2.0 (6 seconds at 512p or 768p) and Hailuo 1.0 (6 seconds at 720p). No Veo 3.1 or Sora 2.
• 1 task at a time, up to 4 in the queue. Downloads carry a watermark.

Standard: $10.50 a month, or $8.40 billed yearly

• 1,000 credits a month: about 84 seconds of MiniMax H3 at 2K, 143 seconds at 768p, or 250 seconds of H3 Max at 480p.
• Adds 1080p on Hailuo 2.3 and 2.0, Sora 2.0 (4 or 8 seconds at 720p; the page still lists it, although OpenAI shut down the Sora 2 API on 24 September 2026) and Veo 3.1 (8 seconds at 720p).
• 1 task at a time, 8 in the queue. Watermark-free downloads.
• 20 free Agent image generations a day on the desktop site.

Pro: $38 a month, or $30.40 billed yearly

• 4,500 credits a month: about 375 seconds of H3 at 2K or 643 seconds at 768p.
• Adds 10-second clips on Hailuo 2.3 and 2.0, 12-second Sora 2.0 clips and Veo 3.1 at 1080p.
• 2 tasks at a time, 8 in the queue. 30 free Agent images a day.
• On yearly billing only, the plan card adds unlimited image generation on Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 at 1K, Seedream 5.0 Lite and Seedream 4.5 at 2K, and GPT Image 1.5. The FAQ describes this as a promotion of "1 year of unlimited image generations" on select plans.

Master: $89 a month, or $71.20 billed yearly

• 10,500 credits a month: about 875 seconds of H3 at 2K or 1,500 seconds at 768p.
• Same models and lengths as Pro. 2 tasks at a time, 12 in the queue. 50 free Agent images a day.
• The credit rate is the same as Pro's, so Master only makes sense if 4,500 credits run out.
• Yearly billing raises the Nano Banana unlimited image tier to 2K.

Max: $216 a month, or $184 billed yearly

• 27,000 credits a month: about 2,250 seconds of H3 at 2K or 3,857 seconds at 768p. The FAQ says 20,000 monthly credits for Max, so the plan card and the FAQ disagree by 7,000 credits.
• Unlimited Hailuo 2.0 and 2.3 generation (the FAQ says unlimited Hailuo 01 and 02 once credits are used up, not for Agent creations). MiniMax H3 is still paid in credits.
• 2 tasks at a time, 12 in the queue. 50 free Agent images a day plus unlimited images with the Image 01 model.
• Yearly billing adds unlimited Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 at 4K.

What one clip costs on each plan

The FAQ lists credit prices for the older models. For MiniMax H3 it does not, but each plan card states how many seconds its credits buy, which works out to the same rate on every plan: 12 credits a second at 2K, 7 at 768p, and 4 a second for H3 Max at 480p. Dollar figures below are credits multiplied by each plan's price per credit.

Three things stand out. Standard's 1,000 credits cover 23 six-second H3 clips at 768p or 16 five-second clips at 2K, so it is a trial-sized plan for the flagship model. Pro billed yearly cuts the price of the same clip by 36% against Standard monthly, and Master and Max billed yearly land on almost the same rate ($0.0068 a credit), so the bigger plans buy volume, not a lower price. Veo 3.1 is expensive here at its regular 320 credits; a promotion currently prices it at 120 credits (and Veo 3.1 Fast at 60 instead of 120), with no end date given. Hailuo AI does not carry Seedance 2.5.

How Hailuo credits work

• Membership credits reset monthly and do not carry over.
• Top-up credits can be bought without a subscription. The FAQ says they are valid for 1 year; the billing panel says they expire on 31 December of the year after purchase. Top-up prices are not shown on the pricing page.
• Bonus credits (new-user rewards and promotions) expire after their own validity period, and stack with a subscription.
• Failed generations cost no credits.
• Upgrades are charged at the full price of the new plan, with no proration. Unused credits from the old plan become purchased credits that expire on 31 December of the following year.
• Downgrades and cancellation: the account moves to Free when the paid period ends. Refunds are "not currently supported", per the FAQ.
• Quality and safety rules are the same on every plan, including Free, per the FAQ.

Monthly or yearly billing

Yearly billing takes 20% off Standard, Pro and Master and about 15% off Max. In dollars a year: Standard saves $25.20 ($126 against $100.80), Pro $91.20 ($456 against $364.80), Master $213.60 ($1,068 against $854.40) and Max $384 ($2,592 against $2,208). On Pro, Master and Max, yearly billing also brings the unlimited image models listed above, which the monthly plan cards do not include.

Is Hailuo AI free?

Partly. The Free plan costs nothing and opens MiniMax H3, H3 Max and the older Hailuo models, but it has no monthly credits: new users get a one-time welcome grant (150 credits in the sign-up banner on 31 October 2026), and once that is spent, every clip needs top-up credits or a plan. At H3's rate, 150 credits are three six-second clips at 768p with 24 credits left, or six six-second Hailuo 2.3 clips. Free downloads carry a watermark, Veo 3.1 and Sora 2 are locked, and only one task runs at a time. On commercial use, the FAQ says "any videos you can download without watermarks are yours" and can be used commercially; it does not address watermarked free-plan output.

Which plan to pick

• Trying MiniMax H3: the free credits first, then Standard at $10.50 for about 23 clips at 768p a month.
• Regular H3 work: Pro billed yearly ($30.40). Its $0.0068 credit is 36% cheaper than Standard monthly, and it runs 2 tasks at once.
• More than 4,500 credits a month: Master or Max. Neither lowers the yearly credit rate much; Max is worth it mainly if you use Hailuo 2.0 and 2.3 a lot, since those are unlimited on it.
• Veo 3.1: only while the 120-credit promotion runs; at the regular 320 credits, an 8-second clip costs $2.16 to $3.36 here.
• Developers: the MiniMax API, which bills per clip and needs no subscription.

Do Hailuo AI credits roll over?

No. Membership credits reset every month. Top-up credits last longer: the FAQ says one year, the billing panel says until 31 December of the year after purchase. When you upgrade, unused plan credits are converted to purchased credits.

Can I use Hailuo AI videos commercially?

The paid plan FAQ says any video you can download without a watermark is yours to use commercially, with full rights. Paid plans download without a watermark; the FAQ does not address watermarked free-plan videos.

Does Hailuo AI have Veo 3.1 or Seedance 2.5?

Veo 3.1 is included on every paid plan (8 seconds at 720p on Standard, also 1080p from Pro). Its regular rate is 320 credits a clip, currently 120 under a promotion with no end date. Hailuo AI does not offer Seedance 2.5.
