Kling AI Pricing: Every Plan, Credit Costs per Clip and the Free Plan
Standard, Pro, Premier and Ultra+ at list, renewal and yearly prices, what a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip costs on each, and how Kling credits expire.
Kling AI has a free Basic plan and four paid plans. Standard lists at $10 a month, Pro at $37, Premier at $207 (with 18,000 credits) and Ultra+ at $619. A monthly plan renews at 12% below list: $8.80, $32.56, $181.99 and $544.99. Billed yearly, the same plans work out to $6.60, $24.42, $136.67 and $408.58 a month. Premier also comes in 8,000, 28,000 and 38,000 credit sizes, from $92 to $428 list. Every plan pays in credits, and monthly credits expire 31 days after they are issued. The decision mostly comes down to volume: a 5-second 1080p Kling 3.0 clip with audio costs 60 credits, so Standard's 660 credits cover 11 of them a month.
Kling AI pricing at a glance
The monthly view shows three prices for each plan: a crossed-out list price, a lower first-month price, and the price the plan renews at every month after that. The table uses the list price and the renewal price. The cost per 100 credits is worked out from the renewal price; the pricing page's own "100 Credits =" figure uses the first-month price, so it reads lower.
| Plan | List price | Monthly renewal | Yearly (per month) | Credits a month | Per 100 credits (renewal) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $0 | $0 | $0 | None listed | n/a |
| Standard | $10 | $8.80 | $6.60 ($79.20 a year) | 660 | $1.33 |
| Pro | $37 | $32.56 | $24.42 ($293.04 a year) | 3,000 | $1.09 |
| Premier 8K | $92 | $80.96 | $60.72 ($728.64 a year) | 8,000 | $1.01 |
| Premier 18K | $207 | $181.99 | $136.67 ($1,639.99 a year) | 18,000 | $1.01 |
| Premier 28K | $322 | $283.99 | $212.58 ($2,550.99 a year) | 28,000 | $1.01 |
| Premier 38K | $428 | $376.99 | $282.50 ($3,389.99 a year) | 38,000 | $0.99 |
| Ultra+ | $619 | $544.99 | $408.58 ($4,902.99 a year) | 57,000 | $0.96 |
Prices checked on 31 October 2026 on Kling AI's pricing page, from the United States, in US dollars.
A first-purchase offer takes 30% off the first month (29% on Premier 8K), so the first month costs $6.99 on Standard, $25.99 on Pro, $144.99 on Premier 18K and $432.99 on Ultra+; it can be used once, on the first purchase only.
What each plan includes
Basic: free
- No monthly credits in the plan comparison. The FAQ separately mentions monthly free credits for non-subscribers, claimed on login (see the free plan section).
- No 1080p or 4K video, no 4K images and no image upscaling.
- Brand watermark kept; watermark removal is a subscriber benefit.
- One video per generation and 30 saved Elements (reference characters or objects).
- No commercial use: the FAQ grants commercial rights to paid subscribers.
Standard: $10 list, $8.80 a month after the first month, or $6.60 billed yearly
- 660 credits a month.
- 1080p and 4K video generation, 4K images and image upscaling.
- Brand watermark removal and commercial use of generated content.
- Daily bonus credits for subscribers, unlimited queued tasks and fast-track generation.
- VIDEO 2.6 Voice Control free of credit cost, and 3 free uses a day of Element AI Multi-Shot.
- Up to 4 videos per generation and 50 saved Elements.
Pro: $37 list, $32.56 a month after the first month, or $24.42 billed yearly
- 3,000 credits a month.
- Everything in Standard, with 150 saved Elements.
- Priority access to new features.
Premier: from $92 list, $80.96 a month after the first month, or $60.72 billed yearly
- A slider sets the size: 8,000, 18,000, 28,000 or 38,000 credits a month. The 18,000-credit size is the one shown by default ($207 list, $181.99 renewal).
- The per-credit rate barely moves across sizes: about $1.01 per 100 credits at renewal on 8K, 18K and 28K, and $0.99 on 38K. Pick the size by how much you generate, not to save on the rate.
- Everything in Pro, with 150 saved Elements. Kling treats the four sizes as the same tier when you switch plans.
Ultra+: $619 list, $544.99 a month after the first month, or $408.58 billed yearly
- 57,000 credits a month, the lowest rate on the page: $0.96 per 100 credits at monthly renewal and about $0.72 on the yearly plan.
- 500 saved Elements and beta test invites where applicable.
- The yearly Ultra+ plan adds early access to Kling 4.0 Flash, which the monthly card does not list.
- The older Ultra plan (26,000 credits) is closed to new subscribers; existing Ultra subscribers keep it.
Team Pro (business)
- A Business tab sits next to the monthly and yearly toggles. The page's structured data lists Team Pro at $98 a month or $876 a year ($73 a month).
- Seats, credits and team features for Team Pro were not shown in the public page text on 31 October 2026.
What one clip costs on each plan
Kling's VIDEO 3.0 guide prices generation per second: 6 credits a second at 720p without audio, 9 with native audio, 8 at 1080p without audio and 12 with audio. Voice Control adds 2 credits a second. Kling's credit cost guide for the 3.0 series lists 4K at 30 credits a second. The table converts a 5-second clip into dollars at each plan's monthly renewal price per credit and shows in brackets how many such clips a month of credits covers.
| 5-second Kling 3.0 clip | Credits | Standard (660) | Pro (3,000) | Premier 18K | Ultra+ (57,000) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 720p, no audio | 30 | $0.40 (22) | $0.33 (100) | $0.30 (600) | $0.29 (1,900) |
| 720p, native audio | 45 | $0.60 (14) | $0.49 (66) | $0.45 (400) | $0.43 (1,266) |
| 1080p, no audio | 40 | $0.53 (16) | $0.43 (75) | $0.40 (450) | $0.38 (1,425) |
| 1080p, native audio | 60 | $0.80 (11) | $0.65 (50) | $0.61 (300) | $0.57 (950) |
| 4K | 150 | $2.00 (4) | $1.63 (20) | $1.52 (120) | $1.43 (380) |
The arithmetic: monthly renewal price divided by monthly credits, times the clip's credits. Native audio adds 50% to every clip, and 4K costs 2.5 times a 1080p clip with audio. Moving from Standard to Ultra+ cuts the price of a clip by about 28%, much less than the jump in monthly price suggests; the bigger plans mostly buy volume. Kling has not published credit rates for Kling 4.0 on a public guide page, so it is not in the table; the app shows the cost before each generation.
The plans page lists only Kuaishou's own Kling models, with no Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 or other third-party video models.
How Kling AI credits work
- Monthly credits last 31 days from the day they are issued and do not roll over. When a subscription ends, unused monthly credits expire.
- Purchased credits last 2 years. Credits bought separately through "Purchase Credits" are added at once and stay valid after a subscription ends. The pack prices are not shown on the public plans page. Owning purchased credits does not unlock subscriber features such as watermark removal or 4K.
- Daily bonus credits go to subscribers on their first login each day and expire at midnight local time the same day. The page does not give the daily amount.
- Order of use: credits that expire soonest are spent first, so daily bonus credits go before monthly credits, and monthly credits before purchased ones.
- Running out: buy credits or upgrade. An upgrade to a higher tier, or from monthly to yearly on the same tier, applies at once with its credits. A lower tier, or another plan of the same tier and cycle, waits until the current subscription expires.
- One subscription at a time. Priority runs Ultra+, Ultra, Premier, Pro, Standard, then recurring before one-time, then yearly before monthly.
- Cancelling: on the web, Profile, Manage Plan, Cancel Subscription; on iOS and Android, through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Invoices can be requested on the web only, from Purchase History, and arrive within 10 business days.
- Credits cannot be transferred to another user or cashed out.
Monthly or yearly billing
The yearly toggle says "34% Off", which is measured against the list price. Against the monthly renewal price, the real saving is 25%. In dollars a year, compared with paying the renewal price for 12 months:
- Standard: $79.20 instead of $105.60, saving $26.40.
- Pro: $293.04 instead of $390.72, saving $97.68.
- Premier 8K: $728.64 instead of $971.52, saving $242.88. Premier 18K: $1,639.99 instead of $2,183.88, saving $543.89. Premier 28K saves $856.89 and 38K $1,133.89.
- Ultra+: $4,902.99 instead of $6,539.88, saving $1,636.89, plus Kling 4.0 Flash early access.
Credits on a yearly plan still arrive each month and still expire 31 days after issue, so the yearly price pays for 12 monthly allowances, not one large balance. With the first-month offer, a year of monthly Standard costs $6.99 plus 11 months at $8.80, or $103.79, still above the $79.20 yearly price.
Is Kling AI free?
Yes, there is a free Basic plan, with limits. The plan comparison lists no monthly credits for Basic, while the credits FAQ says non-subscribers can claim monthly free credits on login, valid for 31 days, without saying how many. Kling also runs promotions with free credits, and the plans page shows a sign-in prompt to "claim limited-time free credits". Daily free credits are a subscriber benefit, not a Basic one.
Free output keeps the Kling watermark, stays below 1080p, and comes one video per generation. Commercial use is granted to paid subscribers in the FAQ, provided the content is not used to build a competing product, so Basic output is for personal use. Kling's VIDEO 3.0 guide prices a 5-second 720p clip without audio at 30 credits, so a small free allowance covers a handful of test clips at most.
Which plan to pick
- Trying it out: Standard, $6.99 for the first month and $8.80 after. 660 credits cover about 22 five-second 720p clips without audio, or 11 at 1080p with audio, without a watermark.
- Regular short-form work: Pro at $32.56 a month, or $24.42 yearly. 3,000 credits give 50 clips at 1080p with audio, and the rate is 19% below Standard's.
- Daily production: Premier at the size you need. The rate is flat across sizes at about $1.01 per 100 credits, so 8K at $80.96 suits 130 to 200 clips a month and 38K suits about 630 at 1080p with audio.
- Studios and 4K: Ultra+ yearly, $408.58 a month for 57,000 credits, the lowest rate at about $0.72 per 100 credits, which brings a 5-second 4K clip to about $1.08.
- Teams: Team Pro at $98 a month or $876 a year, if you need a business account; ask Kling for seat details first.
- Developers: the Kling API is a separate, per-use product with its own prices on our price radar; plan credits do not apply to it.
The same models elsewhere
Kling 3.0 is also sold through other platforms and APIs. Here is the cheapest published price for a 5-second 720p Kling 3.0 clip on each platform we track (Kling's own app charges 30 to 45 credits for it, $0.29 to $0.60 depending on plan and audio):
The Kling app does not offer Seedance 2.5, so as a reference point, this is what a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip costs on the platforms that carry it:
The radar compares every length and resolution: Kling 3.0 prices and Seedance 2.5 prices. Our Kling 3.0 benchmark results and the Kling AI review cover output quality, and the leaderboard ranks it against other models. Higgsfield also sells Kling 3.0 inside its plans (Higgsfield pricing), and OpenArt pricing covers another multi-model subscription; for a per-minute view across platforms, what a minute of AI video costs.

Frequently asked
How much does Kling AI cost a month?
Standard lists at $10 a month, Pro at $37, Premier at $207 with 18,000 credits and Ultra+ at $619. After the first month, monthly plans renew at $8.80, $32.56, $181.99 and $544.99. Premier also comes with 8,000 credits ($92 list, $80.96 renewal), 28,000 ($322, $283.99) and 38,000 ($428, $376.99). A first-purchase offer takes 30% off the first month, so Standard starts at $6.99.
Is Kling AI free?
There is a free Basic plan. The plan comparison lists no monthly credits for it, while the FAQ says non-subscribers can claim monthly free credits on login, valid 31 days, without giving the amount. Basic output keeps the Kling watermark, has no 1080p or 4K, makes one video per generation and is not licensed for commercial use.
How many credits does a Kling 3.0 video cost?
Kling's VIDEO 3.0 guide charges 6 credits a second at 720p without audio, 9 with native audio, 8 at 1080p without audio and 12 with audio, so a 5-second clip costs 30 to 60 credits. 4K is 30 credits a second, 150 for 5 seconds. Kling has not published Kling 4.0 rates on a public guide page.
Do Kling AI credits roll over?
No. Monthly credits expire 31 days after they are issued, and unused monthly credits are lost when a subscription ends. Daily bonus credits for subscribers expire at midnight the same day. Credits bought separately last 2 years and stay usable after a subscription ends. Credits that expire soonest are spent first.
Is the yearly Kling AI plan worth it?
Against the monthly renewal price it saves 25%: $26.40 a year on Standard, $97.68 on Pro, $543.89 on Premier 18K and $1,636.89 on Ultra+. The page's "34% off" is measured against the list price. Credits still arrive monthly and expire after 31 days, and yearly Ultra+ adds early access to Kling 4.0 Flash.
Can I use Kling AI videos commercially?
Paid subscribers can use, distribute and modify generated content for commercial purposes, as long as it is not used to build products that compete with Kling AI, according to the plans page FAQ. Commercial use and watermark removal are listed for Standard and above, not for the free Basic plan.
Which Kling AI plan should I choose?
Standard ($8.80 a month after the first month) covers about 11 five-second 1080p clips with audio. Pro ($32.56) covers 50 and lowers the rate per credit by 19%. Premier keeps a flat rate of about $1.01 per 100 credits across its sizes, so pick the size by volume. Ultra+ yearly has the lowest rate, about $0.72 per 100 credits.
Does Kling AI have Seedance 2.5 or Veo 3.1?
No. Kling's plans page lists only Kuaishou's own models, such as Kling 3.0, 3.0 Omni and Kling 4.0, with no Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 or other third-party video models.
