Pika Pricing: Free, Starter, Creator and Fancy Plans, Credits and Cost per Clip

Pika costs $10, $35 or $95 to $880 a month, with a free plan that has no monthly credits. What Seedance 2.5, Pika 2.5 and Kling 3.0 clips cost on each plan.

By Priya Shenoy ยท

Pika Starter costs $10 a month ($8 billed yearly) with 900 credits, Creator $35 ($28 yearly) with 3,150 credits and Fancy $95 to $880 ($76 to $704 yearly) with 8,550 to 79,200 credits. The Free plan costs nothing but has no monthly credits, only paid credit packs from $25, and no commercial license.

Pika has a free plan and three paid plans: Starter at $10 a month ($8 billed yearly), Creator at $35 ($28 billed yearly) and Fancy from $95 to $880 a month ($76 to $704 billed yearly), with Enterprise priced by quote. The Free plan has no monthly credits; you can only buy credit packs on it. Every paid plan buys credits at the same rate, 90 credits per dollar (112.5 billed yearly), so the plans differ in volume, parallel jobs, the priority queue and commercial use, not in price per clip. All plans, including Free, can use every model, Seedance 2.5 among them.

Prices checked on 31 October 2026 on Pika's pricing page. Fancy is a slider: each extra dollar a month adds 90 credits, from 8,550 credits at $95 to 79,200 at $880. No promotion was running on the page.

What each plan includes

Free

  • 0 monthly credits. You can buy one-off credit packs from $25 without starting a subscription.
  • All models.
  • 2 video jobs and 2 image or audio jobs at once.
  • No watermark, according to the plan card and the FAQ.
  • No commercial license, no priority queue, no early access to new models.

Starter: $10 a month, or $8 billed yearly

  • 900 credits a month: about 7 five-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p, or about 45 Pika 2.5 clips.
  • All models, no watermark, commercial license.
  • 2 video jobs and 8 image or audio jobs at once.
  • No priority queue.

Creator: $35 a month, or $28 billed yearly

  • 3,150 credits a month, marked "Best Value" on the page, though the price per credit is the same as Starter.
  • 8 video jobs and 32 image or audio jobs at once.
  • All models, no watermark, commercial license. No priority queue.

Fancy: from $95 a month, or $76 billed yearly

  • 8,550 credits at $95, scaling to 79,200 at $880 (the slider shows steps at about 8.6k, 26k, 44k, 62k and 79k credits).
  • Unlimited parallel generations and the priority queue.
  • Early access to new models, but only from $440 a month (39,600 credits); below that, Fancy gets the same models as everyone else.
  • All models, no watermark, commercial license.

Enterprise

  • Custom credits, unlimited parallel generations, early access to new models and dedicated support. Price by quote.
  • Pika's API (Pika API Club) is a separate product with its own billing; plan and top-up credits do not work there.

What one clip costs on each plan

Pika does not publish one credit table for every app. The pricing page lists credits per generation for a few models, and each model page shows the cost before you generate. The table uses those figures. Because every paid plan buys credits at 90 per dollar (112.5 per dollar yearly), the dollar cost per clip is the same on Starter, Creator and Fancy; what changes is how many clips a month of credits covers.

ClipCreditsMonthly plansYearly plansTop-up onlyStarter / Creator / Fancy ($95) per month

Basis: plan price divided by plan credits ($10 for 900, $35 for 3,150, $95 for 8,550 all give $0.0111 a credit; $0.0089 yearly), and 60 credits per dollar for top-ups. Pika's Seedance 2.5 page states the same result, about $0.27 a second monthly and $0.22 yearly.

Three things stand out. Seedance 2.5 uses six times the credits of Pika's own Pika 2.5 at the same 720p and 5 seconds, so Starter's 900 credits run out after 7 Seedance clips. Buying credits as top-ups costs 50% more per credit than any subscription. Pika does not publish per-clip costs for Pikaframes, Pikaffects, editing apps such as Swap Anything, or the new Pika H3 Flex; the app shows the quote before you generate.

Pika 2.5, the cheapest video model in the table, is Pika's own. Its model page lists 5-second clips from a prompt alone, 5 or 10 seconds from a reference image, and 1 to 5 seconds per transition when you animate between two to five keyframes (10 seconds with exactly two), at 720p or 1080p; a five-keyframe sequence renders at 720p only. The 20-credit figure is the quote shown for the default setting of 720p and 5 seconds, so 1080p and 10-second clips cost more. Pikaframes runs on the same model.

How Pika credits work

  • Plan credits expire. They refresh each billing period and do not roll over, including on yearly plans, where they still refresh monthly.
  • Top-up credits last a year. Packs run from $25 (1,500 credits) to $1,000 (66,000 credits, 10% extra) at 60 credits per dollar, on any plan including Free, and expire 365 days after purchase.
  • Where credits work: top-ups only on Pika on pika.art and Pika MCP. They cannot be used with the API, the iOS app or old.pika.art.
  • Cost depends on settings. Length, resolution and other options change the price, and each app shows the estimate before you generate. Video Studio makes clips and multi-shot videos up to 30 seconds with supported models.
  • Plan changes: an upgrade applies at once; a downgrade starts at the next billing period and can be undone until then.
  • Cancelling and refunds: the plan stays active until the end of the period, then moves to Free. Subscription payments and credit packs are non-refundable. Failed generations that took credits go through support.

Monthly or yearly billing

Yearly billing takes 20% off every paid plan. That saves $24 a year on Starter ($120 against $96), $84 on Creator ($420 against $336) and $228 on Fancy at $95 ($1,140 against $912), rising to $2,112 at the $880 top of the Fancy slider. Credits still arrive monthly and expire each month on a yearly plan, so pay yearly only if you use most of the allowance every month. Because the yearly discount applies to the credit rate as well, it is the cheapest way to buy Pika credits: $0.0089 each, against $0.0111 monthly and $0.0167 in a top-up pack.

Is Pika free?

Pika has a free plan, but it includes no monthly credits: generating anything means buying a credit pack, from $25 for 1,500 credits. With a pack, Free can use every model, runs 2 video jobs at once and, according to the pricing page and FAQ, downloads have no watermark. What Free does not give is a commercial license: the FAQ says free accounts do not get commercial use even when they buy credit packs. If you will publish the output for paid work, Starter at $10 a month costs less than the smallest $25 pack and includes the license, though with 900 credits instead of 1,500. Pika may use uploads and creations on any plan to improve its services, including its models.

Which plan to pick

  • Trying it out: Starter at $10. 900 credits give about 45 Pika 2.5 clips or 26 Kling 3.0 clips, and a commercial license.
  • Seedance 2.5 regularly: Creator at $35 for about 25 clips a month at 720p, or Fancy at $95 for about 70. Pika's own finder example (12 Seedance 2.5 clips and 20 images a month) lands on Creator with 1,120 credits spare.
  • Heavy or team use: Fancy, which removes the cap on parallel jobs and adds the priority queue. Early access to new models needs $440 a month or more.
  • Occasional, non-commercial use: Free plus a credit pack. Top-up credits last 365 days, but cost 50% more per credit than a subscription.
  • Developers: the separate Pika API Club, since plan credits do not work in the API.
